Fully Paid Securities Lending
Offer your clients an additional revenue stream with Pershing’s fully paid securities lending program. Investors who have fully paid positions in their cash accounts can loan those securities to Pershing. Your clients maintain positions in their accounts for purposes of cost basis calculations, tax-lot accounting, hedges and holdings representation. At the same time, they receive rebate income on a monthly basis and substitute payments for dividends on loaned shares. Proxy voting rights and Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) coverage must be forfeited on loaned securities.
