Michael Row is a Managing Director for the Global Customers group and a member of the Executive Committee for Pershing, a BNY Mellon company. Mr. Row is responsible for all of the Relationship Management teams for Pershing’s introducing broker-dealer business, with locations in San Francisco, California; Lake Mary, Florida; Oak Brook, Illinois; Quincy, Massachusetts; Jersey City, New Jersey; Charlotte, North Carolina; and London, England. He is also responsible for Pershing’s efforts involving several key customer strategic growth initiatives—Asset Consolidation, RIA Complete and Self-Clearing firms.

Mr. Row joined Pershing’s Customer Service department in 1987 and has worked with a broad range of financial organization customers. Prior to his current role, Mr. Row has had responsibility for the U.S.-based initiatives of the account managers, customer trainers and general customer service groups, in addition to Pershing’s Eastern Region Relationship Management team.

During his career at Pershing, Mr. Row has assumed all roles within the core Pershing service model, including customer service representative, account manager and relationship manager. Mr. Row has also managed the Relationship Management function for Pershing Advisor Solutions, which provides custody, technology and reporting solutions to registered investment advisors. From 2005 through 2010, he served on the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA) Membership Committee and was a member (2002 to 2004) and then chair (2004) of the FINRA District 9 Committee. He has also been a member of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Private Client Services Committee.

Mr. Row earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Rutgers University and has also completed the Securities Industry Institute® program, sponsored by SIFMA, at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
