Edward Piscina is a Managing Director and Chief Quality Officer for Pershing, a BNY Mellon company. Mr. Piscina manages Pershing’s Quality Management Office, tax reporting and balancing and reconciliation operations. In his prior position with Pershing, he was responsible for Credit Services, which included Customer Service, New Jersey and California Margin and Money Desk Operations, Institutional Control, Omnibus Processing, Exception Processing, Projects and Reporting, Account Transfers and ProCash®/ Resource Checking operations. Mr. Piscina joined Pershing in 1996 as a Vice President to manage the New Jersey Margin Department. Since joining Pershing, he has led a number of reengineering initiatives focused on increasing capacity and productivity, lowering costs and enhancing the firm’s service levels.
Before joining Pershing, Mr. Piscina spent more than 20 years in Merrill Lynch’s Broadcort Capital and PaineWebber’s Correspondent Services. During his tenure, he managed the Margin, Retirement, Account Transfer, Dividend and Interest, New Accounts and Security Master departments, and was Risk Manager for PaineWebber’s Correspondent Clearing Division. He is a member of Pershing’s Credit Committee, Statement Governance Committee, Quality Council, Conversion Task Force, Employee Investment Choice, Customer Solution Review Committee and Promotion Committee. Mr. Piscina serves on the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Credit Division Rules and Regulation Committee, the NYSE Rule 431 “Other” Committee and is a past President of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association’s, formerly known as the Securities Industries Association, Credit Division.
