Anthony J. Harper is Co-President of Pershing Managed Account Solutions and Managing Director of Pershing, a BNY Mellon company. Mr. Harper co-heads the managed accounts business and is responsible for strategy, business development, product management and operations.

Formerly, Mr. Harper was president of PNC Managed Investments, Inc. He joined PNC in 2004 and established the product management unit of PNC Global Investment Servicing. Prior to joining PNC, Mr. Harper was based in Frankfurt, Germany, as vice president of business development in Europe for Federated Investors. His activities included the formation of a joint venture with insurer LVM Versicherungen, launch of an institutional investment company and establishment of the firm’s European retail UCITS umbrella fund. Before that, Mr. Harper was director of Federated’s broker-dealer subsidiary that pioneered TrustConnect, the fund trading solution for trust departments. During his tenure at Federated, Mr. Harper also served as product manager for fund services, plan administration and asset management divisions.

Mr. Harper earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Johns Hopkins University and earned a graduate diploma from the University’s Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. He was an English-Speaking Union Scholar, attending Rydal School.
